Currently I'm working with net-next tree locally. Unfortunately I have
no time to update github project but hope to do it in the nearest
future.

linux-wsn wiki contains all the necessary information. (I believe :-) )

Uuuuh, lots and lots features. The current code contains a basic
implementation only, no ieee802.15.4 related features. So ToDo list
contains at least the following items:

1. beacon support
2. coordinator support
3. network association
4. scanning
5. security
6. topologies
7. serial mac support
8. radio drivers
etc...

Just to avoid flood on linux-zigbee list. Some patch-sets are huge
(more than 10 patches) and are resubmitted several times, so I'd like
to send here the ones were applied. you may find all the series on
netdev list.

That the reason why I read messages on this list and try to reply :-)
I highly appreciate any interest to this project and only will be glad
to extend the developers team. So feel free to ask any questions!
