You do that in ... Python? How does that fit with the fact that a lot of
802.15.4 devices will be deeply embedded, highly optimized for power and
thus hardly have more ressources than necessary?

However, a python implementation is in any case a good start, and
optimization or a port to C can of course be done later (TM).
