I wouldn't even bother with trying to get fixes into "current".
The 6LoWPAN stack is currently broken in so many ways that it's
well beyond incremental fixing.

I think it's much easier to understand what a series of patches
accomplishes if they change a location once, instead of making
partial fixes that get rewritten moments later. That just tries
the patience of reviewers.
