sorry for the hard english. my head is pretty messed up already from the
ipod. the thing is,i clearly stated in my mail, that my ipod is working
fine, playing songs, videos, everything, but when i connect it to my laptop
or computer, it doesnt get detected.my computer doesnt know tht sumthing is
connected.my laptop and computer usb ports are working totally fine.the
problem is with my ipod's dock connecter or probably motherboard. bro, i
clearly know its not a support forum or sumthing, but only u guys around are
the ones who know the most about ipods. i cant get the required info
anywhere.like the ipod pinouts, anything.am not an engineer or anything near
one.am undergraduate, and dont have much clue of what happens in the ipod
dock circuitry......i just need ur help at what might be wrong with my
ipod.does the ipod have any fuses, if yes, did i blow one up supplying the
9V? and ya.i am just trying to know what is wrong with my ipod.i, by mistake
had supplied 9V dc to the data pins of the ipod.by mistake.i want to know
what i might have damaged and what i can do to undo the damage. thanks for
ur reply tho. and bro, i know usb is 5V.i supplied the 9V totally by
mistake.help me figure out what i damaged and how to rectify the problems in
my logic board.
