I found a few errors in the spec file included with the tarball.  I made a number of 
changes to the spec file to get it up to date.  You are welcome to include my changes 
and/or RPM on the official site.  I will admit I didn't do the best job on the spec 
file as I was more interested in getting it working than making it perfect.

For the most part binary rpms are distribution and version specific. 
Source RPMS should be rebuildable across distros, versions and
architectures.
