There are no tic command in Trinux and no terminfo directory on Floppy. I've pasted the 5250.tcap file to my /etc/termcap file on Trinux, then I made a copy of /usr/share/terminfo/5/5250 from Mandrake to Trinux. I've exported the terminal definitions with export TERM=5250 on Trinux. The "set" command tells me that I'm using TERM=5250, but no success. > I've put up a web page where you can download a tarball that I used to > create my TN5250/PicoBSD floppies. Why do I need a "PC running FreeBSD 4.x"? Is that only to build the floppy? Is tn5250 lauched straight from floppy or does it run on the FreeBSD 4.x PC? The main problem with your solution is that I have no idea how that FreeBSD works at all. > Good luck. Thanks. I think I'll post a message to the Trinux list as it seems to be liked to that distro. Thanks again.
