Hmmm... I can't reproduce this. I don't have OMS400... but I have EDI/400 which can take 5-10 seconds to start up. So, I do a STREDI4XX, and while I'm waiting for it to load, I type the menu option I want, then some options, etc... they all come up without me needing to retype them.
Is there some way I can reproduce the problem you're having? What version of TN5250 is this? 0.16.5, or is it from CVS?
