I have been playing with your TN5250 emulator. I think it works great with digital certificates. But it currently does not support the Enhanced 5250 data stream. You know the push buttons and pull down menus. My programmers are getting fancy and trying to breath new life into their 5250 programs. Looks great under CAE 5.1 Mochasoft latest version works but is ugly. What I want to know is if the open source project for TN5250e is ever going to fully support the enhanced features of 5250 data stream. Is anyone wasting their time on this? ;-)
Yes, me. Though I haven't done more with it for some time. I was working on continuous fields, word wrap, and cursor progression (those are the really fancy things that you're talking about, but still needed). My work isn't in CVS yet because it is woefully incomplete (I decided finishing the HOWTO was more important). I want to finish my current work with the scs2* programs, but I can send you what I've done in the mean time (that is if you want to hack tn5250).
