By the way, I am also working on continued field, but only this. I'm "basing" my work on the tn5250j code. I'm supposed to finish it relatively soon but as my AS/400 knowledge is quite poor, my work isn't as fast as it should be.

I was working on continuous fields, word wrap, and cursor progression (those are the really fancy things that you're talking about, but still needed). My work isn't in CVS yet because it is woefully incomplete (I decided finishing the HOWTO was more important). I want to finish my current work with the scs2* programs, but I can send you what I've done in the mean time (that is if you want to hack tn5250).
