Jeff --
Found your site via a web search; I live in Hopewell.
Background:
1. From 1993 - 1999 I used Absoft Fortran 77 ver 3.2.1 Dos compiler, with
PharLap 386:Dos-Extender, for a Fortran program used to back-test trading
strategies on stocks.
2. The stock back-testing program employs relatively simple math routines,
but optimizes various outcomes on large amounts of data. Individual tests
could run 8 - 12 hours.
3. The Fortran program is only about 600K, 100 files, and 15,000 lines of
code.
4. I am not a programmer, but worked with the above program, as well as TAWK.
5. My reason for upgrading is to address more memory (above only uses a few
meg), increase speed, in addition to permit easier modification of the
program.
QUESTION:
1. Do you know of anyone, or where I could find somebody, to help me with the
above port from Dos Fortran to Linux?
Thanks.

Testing? What's that? If it compiles, it is good, if it boots up it is perfect.
