[Linux_Mantra] HTTPD not starting : : httpd dead but subsys locked

Hi,

# /etc/init.d/httpd start
Starting httpd:                                            [  OK  ]
# /etc/init.d/httpd status
httpd dead but subsys locked

Do anybody have a solution, please respond ASAP.
