Or set up equivalent shares in both NFS and SAMBA, like I have at home. It sounds like I've had better luck with SAMBA than you, Horror. I've had to fall back to it many times because the native Linux stuff wouldn't work or I couldn't figure it out. Like, for instance, I can only get a machine to connect to a printer on a network Linux server by connecting through a SAMBA printer share. I have no idea how to get clients to recognize a CUPS server, and the documentation sucks big time in that regard. I can't tell if I have my server set up incorrectly, or if I can't figure out the syntax to connect to the server. SAMBA is flawless, though.
