Now, I have another question. :) How would I copy some of those files to my root directory on this machine? Is that possible? For example I have another windows partition on this machine which is of course off the root directory and not in the home directory. (I'm probably not using the right terminology -showing my ignorance - but I hope you understand my question.) Between you, Horror and the other guys, you've solved my problems - my family thanks you because now I'll let them touch that machine again since I got my important files copied over. They can now re-install their windows and play their games. And I can sleep better tonight! Thanks again!
