I am perfectly happy with my choice and have shown others how well this works. I am getting full 54 MB connection, encryption, anything the card can do I can use. I could have upgraded to a new kernel and mess with other issues for even longer, or tried to patch my exsisting kernel. Which I started and somewhere between the 4th and 5th level of hell I deceided to stop and pay someone to make my life a little easier. I am not a kernel guru, there are about 15 different ways to compile a kernel depending on the 8 people you ask. I am a power user still learning, I chose the easy path for the moment. The good thing about this is Linux offers me the choice to pay someone for help or throwing some elbow grease and figure it out my self.
