/etc/fstab won't have any impact on whether a user can access a
directory once it's mounted.  There's a 'user' option, but that
controlls only whether a normal user can mount and umount the entry.

If the directory is mounting successfully, you'll have to give the
user rights to access it through normal unix file permission.
