One of the reasons I didnt want to get into this discussion is because any
PC configuration is totally depandant on your budget, computing needs, and a
hell lot of brand personal preference. You may like the P4, another person
likes AMD, and don't get me started on motherboard chipsets and brands.

If Naresh, or anyone in the group for that matter, wants to buy a new PC,
the first thing to do should be put a layout of what will they use the
computer for (office use, programming, design, gaming, and so on), and then
prioritize what will their needs be in that computer (RAM, storage space,
processor speed, componenet quality (read brand)) while still maintaining
that not so easy balance because if you overlook one part in favor of the
other, that overlooked part will become a bottleneck and make your new shiny
system operate at snail speed instead of light speed.

All in all, it can be a mess, depending on your needs, requirements, budget,
and brand preference.

This is why brands such as HP, Dell, and the others exist, to make that
decision for you, and to sell you a ready made PC without dragging you in
all that headache of having to go through the process of selecting every
single piece of hardware that goes into that computer.
