Thanks steve for the warm welcoming.

Thank you for the info on downloading the Live version of Linux. How do 
you load it up on the computer. I've already burned the .iso on a CD. Do 
I reboot my computer and boot from the CD rom itself and it then loads  
linux up from the CD? I've never done this before that's why I'm green 
to it. I know enough about windows and how to install it but I don't 
know anything about Linux as far as booting it from the CD and learning 
how to operate Linux in general.

There's another thing that I would like to know and learn about it. How 
do I run Linux through Windows XP Pro?
