Thanks for ur advice chad, but I'm so dumnies on linux,so i can figure what i must do with etc/fstab.
All pc's in my office are migrating from windows to linux. The boss ordered me to mount each pc to server, so users don't have to mount again cause the file from the server automaticcaly mounting when user logon. It works with root, but failed when I use user_login. Can someone tell me what to do? And sorry for the English,I'm not quite well in English. --- In [email protected], Chad Martin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > bajukubelang wrote: > > I'm trying to mount to server as root by type " smbmount > > //server_name/user_folder -o username=login_user/login_server" and it's > > work. > > > > the problem exist when i'm login as user and type the same command, the > > user_folder in server couldn't open. > > Why do you need to mount it as a user?
