I don't know about Linux but in windoze xp such copy to actions go to a 
directory from which the actual burning must be done.
   I am still trying to get an os and modem working in Linux so I can really 
start migrating there.  I have a usr modem which claims it will work in 
Linux.  But I have not had any luck in Mandrake, Freespire, or Ubuntu.
