I don't know about Linux but in windoze xp such copy to actions go to a directory from which the actual burning must be done. I am still trying to get an os and modem working in Linux so I can really start migrating there. I have a usr modem which claims it will work in Linux. But I have not had any luck in Mandrake, Freespire, or Ubuntu.
