I use Fedora (Core 4 b/c I haven't gotten around to upgrading). The only
other distro I've tried is Slackware, and I found it almost impossible to set
up and use (probably because that was my very first experience with Linux).
I've had very few problems with Fedora, so I've never felt the need to look
for another distro.

As a rule, which distro you should use depends on what you want to do with it.
For the average desktop (email, web surfing, office, etc), I've found Fedora
to be quite sufficient.

I'd suggest having a look at http://distrowatch.com/ and checking out what's
available.
