Id like to help but I am not sure I have got the hang of what you are asking
What do you mean by ID. Emule is a web site I guess that loads OK for me.
If you are using Wanadoo are you getting 2000mb speed but using a router it
should not slow you down. Where are you based?

You can only download updates to the computer its for normally required for.
This site at Microsoft gives a guide.

Subject: [LINUX_Newbies] Emule Low ID

This is a windows based problem - but I can't find the expertise I
Need in the Windows group!

I don't know why but when logon to Emule I have a low ID. I have
Forwarded to the necessary ports to my IP address on my home network
Which is wireless and I've even tried pretty in my computer's IP
Address in the wireless routers demilitarised zone and that hasn't
Helped either. Even when I turn the software firewall on my computer
Off I can't get high ID. It seems that it won't be the ports if I am
In the demilitarised zone since that should mean that all ports are
Forwarded shouldn't it?I have read it might be the Internet service
Provider I am using wannadoo DSL are there any programs I could use to
Test if it is the service provider that is stopping me from having
High ID? What other things should look at to sort out this problem I
Am using Windows 2000 professional latest updates etc.

PS does anyone here know where I can download Windows millennium
Edition updates for another computer that does not have hi speed
Internet access, it is out of date and I want to make it a bit more secure

Any help appreciated

Best regards
Jonathan
