Any reasonably up to date Macintosh can do all of the things you say it can't.
a.k.a. Free - (Compilers, Editors, C++, GUI Development, Java Support,
Perl, Etc) I'm just trying to help you out. Take a valium or something, calm
down and get over yourself. Your personality must have slipped into the
woodchipper with that Macintosh.

Well, if you think OS X "completely sucks," unfortunately you'll
probably hate Linux too. Your Mac Quadra is probably too out of date
 to do anything productive anyway.
