I use DeepBurner which is also free and runs under Windoze. It is
available at deepburner.com. If you use it, start the program. The
first screen will give you 3 options: "Create Data CD/DVD," "Create
Audio CD," and "Burn ISO Image." You would select the last option,
"Burn ISO Image." DeepBurner then opens an MDF window. That window
has three parts. The left rectangle controls what task the right
rectangle is doing. It should default to "Burn ISO Image." The right
rectangle is divided into two parts. The upper part is a log of
actions the program has performed or will perform. The lower section
allows you to select an ISO image, start the burn, and monitor
progress of the burn. You need to select the ISO file you want to
burn. At the right end of the field labeled "Image file:" you will
find a button. Select that button. Locate the file you want to burn.
It should automatically select your burner drive under the "Drive:"
section. Leave "Write Speed:" at "Max." Under "Additional
parameters:" uncheck "Simulation", check "Write", and enter the number
of copies you want to burn. Finally select the <Burn ISO> button at
the bottom to begin the burn. Once the process is complete,
DeepBurner will eject the CD. I have other reasons I like this
program but they are not germane to Linux.
