This is going to be my new pet peeve.
"Here's vague specs on a computer that can run anything short of Vista.
Tell me what Linux I would like."
If you want to know what Linux is suitable for you, tell us about you,
not your computer.
I'm not trying to attack you, I've just seen several posts recently that
followed this exact format. The issue is that, if we're going to
recommend based on what your computer can run, we would have to say,
"Any of them." Since we know you want more specific information, you
end up just getting the answer to "What Linux distros do you like?"
which is not exactly what you're looking for.
