Vector Linux is Slackware-based, runs on modest hardware (I've had it on a 300MHz P-2 with 192MB RAM) and offers three different lightweight window managers (Fluxbox, iceWM, and EvilWM), which can be swapped "on the fly" (requires quick X11 restart).
