Ok, I will answer some of the questions. Yes I did watch the verbose
mode (ctrl+alt+f1. And the live cd does stall at the pcmcia and
linksys wireless card. If I take the wireless card out of the slot
the live cd will complete. I did not try to install without the
wireless card because I ran into a problem with gparted. It did not
seem to want to pick up on my free space.
I do have the cd for the linksys card and I did download some info
from Mepis.org about undetected wirless cards and Using nidiswapper.
Now I will have to figure out this thing about gparted. Any help
there would be appreciated.
Jim
