A tech who came out to set up a network for me said the reason
was that I had the same user and password for root and the default. If
I click on the house icon,I get the total home folder. I want to just
see the browser so I can use it. PLease advise me on how to do this.
This computer is part of a network with a Windows computer.I would
rather not mess up the network as I had a to get a tech out to set up
the network.The Linux computer is a Dell Compaq Deskpro,ep/sp series.
The Windows computer is a Dell Dimension 4100.They are both pretty old.
