I don't know about the modem.  I believe that's a winmodem, which
actually relies on some Windows software to work--it's basically a
glorified sound card, oddly enough.  

I have page on wireless on Fedora, but it's for an older Gateaway, using
the the Intel 2100 which takes the ipw driver.  I know there have been
troubles with the Broadcom--you might want to search Fedora forums for
solutions.  For setting up wireless once you get the card recognized,

Note that there were some issues with startup order in Fedora, making
wpa not start properly.  Some have had great luck with Network Manager,
others have had to disable it.  However, I believe it was working better
in Fedora 7 tha Fedora 8, though I wouldn't swear to that.
