To The List -

I'm using the default extractor application (Juicer?) with Gutsy
Gibbon, and I'd like to rip to MP3 format.

I followed the instructions in Help by

1. downloading and installing the LAME encoder (via the Package
Manager),
2. Pasting in the line of parameters from the help text into the
appropriate dialog in Juicer(?),
3.) Checking the MP3 profile as 'Active' in the appropriate dialog,
4.) Restarting Juicer(?), and even restarting Linux.

As a result, I'm not allowed to select the MP3 profile in the
preferences dialog. It's as if it's not marked as 'Active'.

What am I missing?

Thanks In Advance - MJD
