Well, one problem is (possibly) that most of the eee_$DISTRO were done
for the older versions, which have an different wireless card.  Of
course, now that that card (the 5007EG) will be supported in the new
2.6.27 kernel, ASUS changed it to some realtek.

There are some threads on Fedora forums that might be of use--try the
forum and search for the EEE PC.   The 900 is different than the earlier
ones, so now everyone can go back to getting this one working, since
ASUS, despite putting Linux on it, seems bound to make it difficult for
people.
