OK. First, a little backstory. I'd like to create a PHP script that
will create a text file of the current day's MythTV recordings and
email it to me. The script would get it's data from Myth's database.
The problem is that the myth database has about a million tables and
I can't figure out how they are used. I wrote to the MythTV devs
awhile back asking them if there was a roadmap or something to help me
and they told me to dive into the code and find out for myself. I
have some free time now, but there are about a million source code
files to dig through. I wanted to iterate through the directories and
grep each file for the string "Upcoming Recordings", but my shell
scripting books are all boxed up and I don't know where they are.
Could anyone help me out with this?
