Full Circle Magazine is free. It is for Ubuntu and derivatives, although they are branching out to other distros a bit. PCLinuxOS has its own free magazine on the web as well.
There is also Linux Journal which is on the web, but available by subscription. http://fullcirclemagazine.org/downloads/ http://pclosmag.com/ http://www.linuxjournal.com/magazine Also consider listening to podcasts. You can get them by subscription via RSS feeds (use Google Reader, Rhythmbox, Amarok, Miro, etc) or directly from websites. Good ones are: GoingLinux, Ubuntu UK podcast, TuxRadar, Mintcast, Fresh Ubuntu, Jupiter Broadcasting and the Linux Action Show. http://goinglinux.com/ http://podcast.ubuntu-uk.org/ http://www.tuxradar.com/podcast http://www.mintcast.org/ http://freshubuntu.org/ http://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/ I have 25 or 30 more that I listen to regularly. You can Google for more. Most have an RSS button that makes it easy to add to your RSS aggregator.
