Does anyone on the list know an easy and sure way of getting Mozilla Thunderbird configured to provide an audible signal whenever email is delivered to the inbox? It seems the previous versions of Thunderbird had this very good feature, but I'm finding conflicting information while trying to search online if they even have kept that feature with later updates. I just upgraded to Kubuntu 10.10 and using Thunderbird 3.1.7. I do see the very brief tab that pops up in the lower, right corner. Is that configurable so that it will stay up until you dismiss it, or at least for more than a split second, if the audible signal is no longer available? Thanks, -Jerry in Michigan
