Actually we tried to use other stuff since Intel is expensive but, None of the vendors
save
Arrow wanted to mess with a measly 10k piece/year order. I know VIA is a bad word
here but
they had a chipset that was almost perfect for us since it had a built in LCD driver
but we
just don't have the quantity...

*grin* Actually this board has no sockets so a stock card wouldn't do us any good.
We are
in the process of making a jig that will let us hook up the logic analyzer to get a
little
clearer picture of whats happening.
