Hello from Gregg C Levine normally with Jedi Knight Computers Before I demolish my Linux system, one question remains. Quoting you, " You'll need the /dev/cpu/0/msr nodes setup & driver loaded obviously". I understand what it means to set those /dev/cpu/0/msr nodes means, I've done that for a different driver to enable the updating of the processor microcode. But do you mean for setting things like that? I'd imagine that the kernel configuration notes have that listed as well, which is where I first saw them mentioned.
