Hi,

I'm currently testing the LOBOS implemenation.
I compiled a 2.2.13 kernel with the patches from the linux bios website.

The compiler does its job but after installing the new kernel and
rebooting the machine, the kernel terminates with an OOPS/kernel panic
message.(he could not find the file (the new kernel, I suppose)

in kernel/sys.c the file pointer is 0x000000007

...
printk("sys_bootfile: file ptr is %p\n", file);
if (! name)
...

I have a few questions.

Is there an archive of the mailinglist available online about lobos?
How do you specify the new kernel. Can you specify the new kernel from
the lilo cmdline(not the lobos enabled kernel but the one you want to
boot with lobos.)?
How do you configure bootp to specify a new kernel? (introduce special
parameters?)

thanks.
