I am setting up the various clients on my network via dhcpd, which works well with 1.13r7. The only problem I have is that for each new client, I need to have an appropriate entry in the hosts file, otherwise they are not being recognized. Is there some way to automate this process - in other words, have any newly identified client added to the hosts file automatically, or set up DNS in such a way that it will properly recognize the clients on the network. I was under the impression that a caching nameserver should be doing this, but that is apparently not the case. Any help with this is appreciated.
