I did a pwconv on RedHat 5.0. The result was that nobody could login. Since
the telnet connection also died, I need a back-door to get back in. I think
I can manage this (when I'm back home) by rebooting in single-user mode. But
how can I undo the actions done by pwconv?

So, two questions:

- how to get in trough a back-door (single-user mode? boot from floppy? boot
from CD?)
- how to undo the work by pwconv? (pwconv again? de-install shadow? restore
backup of /etc/passwd?)
