It would be more conventional to use TFTP to store and load Cisco
configuration information (we do this here).  And BOOTP to provide
them with boot info if you want to do that (we don't do that here, but
we could).

But rsh and rcp etc. work under Linux just like any other Unix, so you
can go that way too.  What is the actual question here?
