Hi all, I'm using redhat 5.2 and have the password file shadowed. I recently setup linuxconf to allow the owner of our box to do some user admin (add / remove users), but ran into a problem that if I add users with linuxconf their password is not shadowed. This is just a minor problem in that I can go run pwconv to convert any passwords that aren't shadowed, but really prefer to not have any unshadowed passwords sitting there waiting for me to come along later and run pwconv. Is there a way that I can get linuxconf to use shadowed passwords when it adds users? Already when it is used to change a users password, it leaves it shadowed.
