I'm sure I've seen this T-shirt (Chinese New Year style with year
of the penguin for 1999) recently from one of the big clothing
places, so I hope there's not too much effort going into the design,
unless we do want to have a separate one for the demo day ...
Has anyone else already seen this to confirm that it wasn't a dream? They
might be willing to arrange good prices, perhaps some donated Ts (which
amounts to the same thing), etc.
The demo is (let's see, June, July, Aug, Sept ... ) in the range of 4
months away, right? I think there needs to be some realistic talk about
quantities and payment. Will LUGs get together and buy a bunch of shirts,
will individuals, will Deepak fill up his bedroom with crates of Ts and
sell them off piecemiel? ;) Maybe they could be sold in lots of 5 / size
(i.e. "a packet of 5 XLs") to anyone who wants them, jes plain folks,
LUGs, etc.I've spent a lot of time counting T-shirts in my life, and it's
often easiest to round up to the nearest 5 rather than be one or two
short.
