AFAIK The motherboard bios should have a setting
for non linear addressing. This will prevent
Linux from using memory between 16mb to 20 mb
(assuming that the graphics board robs only 4
mb).
These boards are notorious. The best solution is
to disable on board graphics and use an AGP
graphics card with 4mb on the card. Again check
this carefully. The cards are advertised as Xmb
but have X/2 memory on board and rob the rest
from the main memory. Apart from this the 810
chipset is quite okay.
