Mail from ILUG-BOM list (Non-Digest Mode)
Hello Friends,
Recently I Installed Redhat Linux 6.1 (Cheapbytes) on my friend's Comp. He has
Samsung 48X CdDrive. And now when i try to mount the CD Drive, it says as /dev/cdrom
is not a valid Block. Is this the problem of hardware and if so how can i resolve it.
The cheapbyte Redhat works fine for Creative CD-Drive, as with me.
Please anyone let me know what to do about it
The Second problem is with KDE. When I try xinit and then logon to KDE,it does so
properly, but i can't use any utilities as it says /home/usr/.kde/share/apps/kfm/magic
is corrupted.
