Mail from ILUG-BOM list (Non-Digest Mode)
Hi,
there might be a slight chance that your sendmail daemon might not be
started or maybe gets started but could not stay up for more time due to
misconfiguration
try out telneting to port 25 or ps aux|grep sendmail or
/etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail status
to see if its workin or not...

Hi guys,
I just installed RH6.2 from the PCQ cd. I am trying to configure my
sendmail through Linuxconf. Based on that I configured pine to send mail.
Now when I try to sendmail pine tells me smtp server not found. Any ideas.
