Mail from ILUG-BOM list (Non-Digest Mode)
My CD-ROM drive's got stuck trying to read the CD. The cp process is
stuck and Ctrl+C won't kill it. killall -9 doesn't have any effect
either.
umount tells me that /dev/cdrom is busy. umount -f gives me the same
error too.
Does anyone know how I can force an abort, apart from a reboot? The only
choice I seem to have is to wait until it times out.
