Blatant plaigrism that's what it is. His action
is not far removed from AL (save a more
systematic approach).
How does time of registration make a difference.
The domain name was not registered here but what
claim does Mr. Hinge (or any individual or
private body) have on Linux. He could have called
it Linuxwhatever.xyz and there would be no issue.
In fact we should tell NCST that Linux.xyz.in and
Linux-(cityname).xyz.in should be reserved domain
name and alloted only to not profit public bodies
devoted to promoting opensource.
This should solve all such problems.
Regarding handing it over to Linux India this
should be done only if they are a democratic
registered non-profit body.
ILUG-Bom could (??) also take the responsibility.
BTW http://lists.linux-india.org/related/
does not even mention Ilug-bom.
