First chk if you are using inetd or xinetd...these are the super daemons for
services...
for eg, if ur using inetd, then you can edit the /etc/inetd.conf file to
add, delete modify services..
Also, you can control this from the rc scripts in /sbin/init.d
of course..the entire SuSE configuration can be done from the rc.config
file....
