Mail from ILUG-BOM list (Non-Digest Mode)

I have Oracle 8.1.2 for linux (courtesy Oracle
USA). I don't know if it is distributable.
U may write to Oracle though. They will ship from
the US. Takes several weeks to reach u.
A rather pointless excercise. Would have been
better if I could copy and distribute.
Takes umpteen hrs to install. After installing i
have not been able to connect to the database.
Also did not have the time to check out in
detail.
