To tell you'll,....I find India too much Microsoft dominating.
Products like VB, MSWin98/95/NT/2000, IE, ASP, etc. just take no time to pick
up the indian market.
While others like Delphi, PB, Borland(Inprise) C++ etc. just tend to hover
around and become stagnant.
Its just that Oracle and Java seem to be the competing products that can
withstand MS force.
For eg.. if we compare ASP and PHP....How many companies do we hear of using
ASP?? -> Many, infact lots.
And what bout PHP -> Hardly any...or should i say few.

Thats what sux in India. I dont know whether ppl. are crazy bout MS or is it
just a MS marketing strategy.
And I just dont get it is to how ppl. and companies can work on products that
are OS specific.??

Well i dont know what Delphi for Linux has got in it...but i surely know it
wont work atleast in India.

duke.

Inprise is still sore about VB which beat Delphi in the front end
market...not that i am a VB fan.....i am a delphi user too....but u know
borland want to win over ppl who have never heard of Delphi and i tell u
there are plenty of them....

since they want to release a delphi version which runs in linux i would
really like to see C++ Builder for Linux as well or maybe even JBuilder

The JOKE:
Did you know that dolphins are so intelligent that within only a few weeks of
captivity, they can train humans to stand at the edge of the pool and throw
them fish?
