I dont remember which version it was. I installed it from PCQ May99

I have added the conv=a option in fstab. That way, linux can automatically
recognise the type from the extension. So all files show up in the proper
form in the GUI.

I am using the Enlightenment WM that came bundled in the same CD. About
GNOME-Pager, where can I get it? Is it in the same CD?

Anyway, my CD-ROM problem continues. I realised that even KDE loses its
display when I mount the CD. Is it due to a bad setting or something? Or
should I check my display card for memory problems. I have observed that
whenever any process goes haywire, the display is the first to get screwed
up. I use runlevel 5 as default and so cant exit to a runlevel 3 shell.

And please, you CHIP guys, be sure to announce the second release of the
Linux Special in advance. We are supposed to be the coolest Linux Users in
Mumbai and most people missed out on the CD. :-(

Sameer.
